Brief Description: The Saebjorn Longhall is host to many feasts and celebrations as well as everyday life. Mead and food are shared as well as stories of battle and bravery. Walking past the threshold and into the Longhall you will find a basin filled with fresh clean water to refresh after your long travel. Inside the Saebjorn Longhall, the kitchen is to the left and there are rooms in the front of the hall reserved for guests. Inside the hall, we have a large stone fireplace that keeps the Hall warm and cozy. There is a top level of the Saebjorn Longhall that holds several other rooms for respite. You will also find a wide loom and space for crafts at the top of the Saebjorn Longhall. If you are needing anything like the mending of clothes or some food in your belly, get in touch with Nora, she will be happy to feed you.

Guest Rooms

There are two guest suites at the beginning of Saebjorn Longhall are typically reserved for special overnight guests and changing rooms for those coming in out of the wet and cold. This guest bedroom comes with fresh linens and a warm wool blanket. Goose down-feather pillows and a candle lantern by the bedside table. You will find adequate room for storing your personal belongings in the antique dresser with the claw feet and brass knobs. The fireplace will be stocked with fresh wood when you visit to make sure you are receiving the finest hospitality.

Kitchen

The kitchen is stocked with fresh fruit and food. There is always a kettle warming to make tea and a keg ready to pour mead and ale. The pot is on and the smell of traditional Nord food is usually lingering around the kitchen area. Vegetables from our gardens are stored in dry areas of the pantry along with our grains in cloth sacks. There are utensils and pots and pans to cook something up available however the Hallmistress will more than likely have a meal already prepared and all you have to do is bring an empty stomach.

Thorrstad Private Chambers

In the back right of the hall is a door leading into Baene and Branwyn's private chambers with plenty of room for the Thorrstad clan to overnight with them, Branwyn's sewing circle, and Baene's map room.

Hall Mistress Private Chambers

Across from the kitchen on the right side of the hall is a door leading to the rooms set aside for the Hall Mistress. These rooms are private.

Upper Hall Rooms

The upper balcony offers six private bedchambers for crew who prefer to be close to the action or simply prefer to keep only a simple bedroom.
