Make a New Page

To make a new page all you have to do is type the name of the page into either the search bar to the right or directly into a page like this one with the double [ around it. Then clicking on it will make the page, in the same way making an image link works.

Tricks to making new pages

I use some wiki features to make new pages, let me go over that, here is an example:

The moderation team of Hofborg uses a Discord based ticket system. To contact a moderator, join the Hofborg discord server and surf to the #start-here channel to open a ticket.<includeonly> Read More ..</includeonly><noinclude>

Getting Help
You can use the moderator ticket system to get help, make suggestions, and resolve player disputes.

Rule Breaks
Please note the following information when opening a ticket for a potential rule break:
We will want both your character name and your ESO account name, screen shots, and the RULE you believe is broken. We only enforce documented rules. (For most things screenshots will be requested and may in fact be crucial.)

  • Many of my pages are long but I want to give a little "summary" of the page to the user, to do that I use the includeonly option to show them the read more code.
    <includeonly> Read More ..</includeonly>
  • I also then put the no include after this so that only the top summary is added to the embedded page, but remember to put the noinclude BEFORE the categories or you'll double stuff up weird.
    <noinclude>
  • Make sure you put all pages in the TOC Category

  • Make sure you put all pages in THEIR category

  • Then add the bottom bar at the bottom of each page.

Move a page

On the right side again, just click move and it will let you rename the page and will automatically create a REDIRECT to the new page in case old links are left. I tend to be obsessive and go and find all the pages to the old name and fix them by using the "what links here" option on the old page.
