Bakkijotunn

The Coastal Giants
Closest to both Hofborg and Ysmgar's Breach. Prefers to be left alone. Makes a living off of hunting horkers. Had to move away from their ancestral seat, when Ysmgar attacked and killed their chieftain before he, himself, was killed. Apparently some sea giants view land giants as "inferior brethren". There hasn't been anyone to step up since.
  • Does not make cheese.
  • Coastal would be the easiest to make an alliance with, if the Borg is able to help Coastal Giants to reclaim their lost territory.

Located along the Western half of Haafingar's northern coast, the Bakkijotunn are the most reclusive of Western Skyrim's Giants. Having no mammoths, nor any good terrain for grazing mammals, these Giants survive by feasting on the surprisingly dense population of horkers that thrive along the shores.

This Giant clan is also very closely related to the Fellstrondjotunn who dwell at the Eastern end of the coastline, and may have once been part of the same tribe. One piece of evidence supporting this theory is the fact that both of these Giant clans make sacrifices to the sea by putting the corpse of a horker on a raft and setting it ablaze. The Giants do these to appease Marrune, a fearsome deity who's held responsible for the devastating winter storms and frigid winds that wrack Haafingar's coasts.

The Bakkijotunn are currently torn into two parties, ever since their old chieftain was slain during the Sea Giant invasion a couple years ago. Oztar is the current chief, but his influence is turning out to be too weak to solidly hold the clan together. Oztar's younger brother, Thelzun, has been trying to convince the clan to leave these lands and rejoin with the Fellstrond, but himself remains reluctant to leave his brother behind. (Fanon)

Name Pending

Camp Kilkreath
Smallest clan, in danger of being wiped out entirely, thanks to a major road cutting through their territory and making it easier for the Deepwood to expand. Many Giants in this clan have learned Tamrielic, and the clan is split between those that want to abandon their land and those that want to integrate into Nord society by offering to grind mammoth tusks into powder in exchange for food.
  • Does not make cheese.
  • Produces ground mammoth tusks

Name Pending

Camp Highland
Some overlap with the Coastal clan in that they hunt horkers, but they also tend to an elk herd as well. A little more numerous than the Coastal clan, as they haven't been hit by any Sea Giants, and a couple of them have learned Tamrielic and have made a peace with the Nords to leave the Lighthouse alone.
  • Does not make cheese.

Name Pending

Camp Deepwood
Largest clan with the largest territory, and only clan in Haafingar who has mammoths. They attack anyone that intrudes on their territory, but fortunately their territory doesn't overlap with any settlements or well-used roads.
  • Deepwood is the only clan that makes enough cheese to export/trade.
  • Deepwood is the tribe with the most warriors.
  • Deepwood's increased territoriality is because of invading Reachfolk repeatedly encroaching on their territory, for reasons unknown.

Name Pending

Camp Mor Khazgur
Most hostile Giant clan. Wages war against Mor Khazgur to seek the approval of some ancestral-deity that used to wage war against the Orcs all across Skyrim. Has been known to attack some travelers going between Karthwatch and Dragon Bridge.
  • Keeps herds of goats and sheep.
